it was a GREAT evening. and this greatness started when I asked Kerry.. how long they have been together with his wife.
and we started to talk about relationships and hobbies and all this stuff. I really enjoyed it - and looks like he also did, but possibly he is just a kind person )
and then they started to play piano. First Raul played couple of things, really well but I wasn't so impressed - more because he was playing them more like a joke, not serious. Then Kerry played a theme from "Amelie" movie, and it was again beautiful - cause he was really feeling what he is playing. I liked it even more than Raul's play. Then Peter played several things, and then something happened - Raul sat at the piano and started to do some magic. It looked as simple - at first. But then he's done something amazing, his fingers were flying faster and faster and without any mistake - everybody was just keeping silence during this play (long play! he has been playing for smth like 10 minutes), and I understood that it is not just a normal play. It was professional.
And it appeared that I was right. Raul appeared to be professional pianist, having several concerts in London this summer. He is actually Spanish - but head of our UK office, he is great IT specialist, in school he loved both math and grammar, and this amazing play... It looks like "talented in something is talented in everything" is really about him. I'm jealous ) the only thing I didn't like about him is that it looked for me like he has "catched a star" in his life, but this is not so surprising as it appeared
We spent the rest of the evening talking on different things - with just several guys, Raul and Kerry. Kerry is still my star, and even more after our talk. He has encouraged me a lot... For me it means much more than professional piano play.
p.s. and I even can't switch back to my original language, they changed my mind completely Hope this only goes for this night.
p.p.s I'm not drunk at all!! possibly got some temperature, but it doesn't matter that much now )
